Further inland, which is very reminiscent of Tuscany, lies this village with its lovely stone-built houses and breath-taking panoramic views. Here, rather far from tourist infrastructure, one gets together on a Sunday for ouzo and “kokoretsi” (grilled innards).

BA famous mountain-village with a large village-square under venerable old plane-trees. Famed embroideries, traditional costume and a prized bridal gown are on exhibition at the folk-museum. The naturally formed amphitheatre is also worth seeing. There are lovely walks with gorgeous sea-views
